Our History
Origins and the way forward
As a newly started firm, we would more like to present you with a roadmap going forward. Although our lawyers have long experience, the firm is in its infancy. That is a good thing. As the earth turns, we don’t have the baggage of older organisations when we are trying to innovate. We can work with our clients to setup new ways of working in an instant. We are flexible and are able to listen to our clients needs and act on them. We can adapt with our clients, and we don’t have a lot of red tape.
Startup
Starting in May of 2017, we set out to map a new course. We wanted to create a new kind of law firm that would benefit both clients and attorneys. The firm would be a modern platform for using technology and organizational methods for delivering legal services. During the first year, we got our first employees, who are still with us.
As the first Swedish firm, we joined ELTA, the European Legal Technology Association, which gives us an additional platform to explore the delivery of legal services in the 21th century.
We moved from Stureplan to Technology Building at Hötorget.
DeLorean Labs
Building on the success of 2017, we created DeLorean Labs. DeLorean Labs is our testing ground for trying out new tools for delivering legal services. We travelled around the world to get insights into new ways of delivering legal services.
Our first AI-project was finished, in which we assisted a major Swedish software company to construct an AI-solution.
New development offices
We have expanded with a new, separate, development office to integrate and develop our internal legal services.
Consolidation
We are consolidating projects, making minor tweaks and expanding our innovation platform towards our next step in 2021.
