With a top research background as a political scientist, he has gained a special understanding of state and municipal activities and public law. He has previously represented municipal companies and government agencies in processes, IT law and procurement law. His knowledge of public activities has also become a major asset in his advice to companies and private individuals, who have used his broad knowledge in both public law and business activities.

Innovation, technology and law

As an attorney interested and experienced in technology matters, with a background from Chalmers University of Technology and chair of the internship group for Technology in the law network Mackrell International, Pontus has a fascination with innovation, technology and law. As an outlet for his interest in law and technology, he is also on the board of the Swedish Association for IT and Law, which, among other IT related, privacy and IT informatics events, also discovers the legal tech area, including reg tech.

Pontus has been active both at smaller niche law firms and at some of Sweden’s larger law firms. With DeLorean Advokat, he wanted to create a contemporary law firm that offers the best of both worlds – always based on the client’s best interests and experience. Therefore, DeLorean Advokat also works with a lot of internal innovation to create the best possible conditions for achieving the client’s goals.

Comprehensive and hard hitting

Pontus is an appreciated and hands-on process attorney who has extensive experience in helping companies and individuals to make commercial decisions when conflicts have arisen. His view of conflict is as follows: a conflict is if a client has a particular opinion and others do not agree. It is his job to represent his client’s interests in the best way possible. It also means that he must have a broad background in order to be able to contribute a holistic perspective in the areas that the clients want to pursue. Through his unique background, he can offer comprehensive advice that even many larger law firms cannot match without offering a bigger team effort.
