Visiting ABA TECHSHOW in Chicago

The ABA TECHSHOW in Chicago is a yearly event which highlights new technology for lawyers.

Cybersecurity, document management, and trial software, as well as great networking with lawyers with a passion for tech.

We took a plane and attended the TECHSHOW to make sure that we are doing all that we can to stay up-to-date with the current available technologies.

This year event had many good tips, for example the 60 in 60 session, which is just what it sounds like: 60 tech tools in 60 minutes.

Some highlights:

• The Sideways dictionary that explains tech terms that anyone can understand:

• Pnwed Passwords [haveibeenpwnd.com] lets you see if your password that you use everywhere has been compromised.

Takeaways from this year’s event was the large amount of vendors focusing on customer satisfaction.

Notably, compliance regarding GDPR was surprisingly enough not on all vendor’s priority list.
